MAKE! A Mini Piñata!

 
Hola gang. It's time for some super-sweet fun with this 'make your own' mini piñata!
 

 
 
What you'll need:
 
  • Balloon
  • Papier-mâché mix (½ PVA glue, ½ water)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Newspaper
  • Paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Tissue paper
  • Sweets
  • Ribbon

 

 
 1. Blow up the balloon and tie the end with a knot. Rip the newspaper into small strips and paste one or two layers onto the balloon using the papier-mâché mix.
 
 
 
 
2. Once the newspaper strips have dried, paint the top half of the balloon. Then, cut the tissue paper into strips and decorate the bottom half by glueing them on.
 
 
 
 
3. Carefully pop and remove the balloon, and fill the piñata with sweets. Finally, thread a ribbon through the top of the piñata or the handle.
