Get a tiger look with Snazaroo
If you’re celebrating the year of the tiger, the Chinese New Year, why not get a great look with some fantastic face paints from Snazaroo? It’s really easy to create a tiger face with our easy step-by-step guide!
All you need to get started is Snazaroo’s Wild Faces Face Painting kit - available from the Snazaroo website!
How to do it…
- Use a damp sponge to cover the bottom of your face, from below your nose to your jaw line, with a yellow base. Then sponge the top of your face with orange paint.
- Paint a wide ‘moustache’, from under your nose to the top of your lip, making it round at the corners.
- Add a couple of upside down triangles at either side of your bottom lip to create fangs.
- Use a thin brush to draw white spiky eyebrows above each eye, and three white strokes at the corner of each eye.
- Use the same brush to add three lines along the side of each of your cheeks, just above your jaw line.
- Colour the tip of your nose black, and add black strokes to your white eyebrows and at the corner of your eyes.
- Add more black strokes to the white lines on your cheeks, at the edge of your mouth and on your fangs.
- Finally, paint a line from under the middle of your nose to the middle of your top lip, add black dots on your white moustache, and finish with three black whiskers on each side. Now you're ready to roar!
