Ashana Mensah, 9

My assignment was to visit the Tower of London to check out the famous Opening Ceremony. We were met by a Yeoman Guard, who lead us to an archway where four soldiers were waiting for the Chief Yeoman Warder. They all marched together to Traitors Gate and opened it using the Queen's special keys. Only we got to see that happen! I got to interview some Yeomans, too, who told me they have to live next to the Crown Jewels in case someone tries to steal them. That's when we went to see the Crown Jewels. There were crowns with diamonds and pearls on them, cutlery, cups and a huge punch bowl entirely made of gold. They were so secret, you weren't even allowed to take pictures! Thank you NG Kids!
