Get close to nature with Countryside Live!
The countryside is coming to town! Get stuck into a weekend packed with wildlife and fun with Countryside Live!
This fab event will bave something for everyone, so whether you're a big bird watcher, a wacky wildlife enthusiast, or maybe you just want to learn more about the countryside on your doorstop, there will be something for you, your pals and family at Countryside Live!
Taking place on Leyton Marsh in East London, the public event is on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September and a schools event on 21 and 22 September. It’s a fantastic day out for the whole family and a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the countryside, right in the heart of East London and the up and coming neighbouring Olympic Park!
Come along and have a go at making traditional crafts such as willow weaving and woodturning, or hop on a tractor and trailer ride, and then meet loads of friendly animals and explore a weather station. You'll also see the famous sheep show with its dancing sheep!
