Chocolate train

All aboard the Chocolate Express! Artist Carl Warner’s tasty two-metre chocolate sculpture thrilled visitors at London’s Chocolate Fair recently – but how many different types of choccy food can YOU count in this sticky scene? Well, we asked Carl to list the scene’s ingredients and even he had trouble remembering them all! Check out what he used here...

  • Two chocolate-covered swiss rolls
  • Cadbury’s Caramel bars, Galaxy bars and Cadbury  for the panelled parts
  • Wagon Wheels and spoked biscuits for the wheels
  • Matchmakers (or similar) for the long struts
  • Minstrels for the buffers
  • Chocolate buttons
  • Various other chocolate covered biscuits and bars in white and milk chocolate for the rest of the engine and carriage
  • Tracks were made from Crunchie bars for the sleepers and Kit Kats for the rails
  • The stones and rocks around the rails were chocolate covered raisins and Cadbury Clusters
  • Chocolate Chip cookies as larger rocks and a chocolate breakfast cereal for the trees.
  • Mini Dime bars for the tunnel entrance
  • Chocolate rabbit from Thorntons
  • Chocolate powder and icing sugar dusted the rest of the scene
