Wonderful words

When NG Kids reader, Fay Pretty, 10, sent us some of her poems we were very impressed! Here's her brilliant poem about dingos...

When you look at a dingo, what do you see?
I see a spirit of fire and gold,
But in an animal there is always something good,
Like a smile I wanted to cuddle and hold.

When you look at a dingo, what do you see?
I see a domestic dog, a man’s best friend,
But when they are wild they have no friends,
The enemy is the sheep till world’s end.

When you look at a dingo, what do you see?
I see golden fur that shines in the sun,
Don’t hunt them,
Treat them with respect, don’t shoot them with a gun.

When you look at a dingo, what do you see?
I see love and familes,
They group together and hunt together,
They swarm together like bees.

When you look at a dingo, what do you see?
I see you and me,
We’re spirits that ride through the animals,
Making them as happy as you and me.
