Beat the bullies!
Are bullies making your life miserable? Then take action! - Always tell your parents what's going on and keep a diary. Make a
note of each incident, write down who's doing the bullying and who's
witnessed it. - Talk to your teacher - bring a friend along with you for support if
you can. Your teachers will then be able to look out for the bullying
themselves. - Try to hang out in safe, busy areas of school and the playground.
Bullies hate witnesses, so it's good to have lots of people and teachers
around. - If you're being bullied on the school bus, try to sit as near the
driver as possible. - Don't panic if someone has hacked into your internet account or
posted nasty rumours about you on the web. Change your login details and
passwords straight away and report any harassment to parents and to the
website hosts. Nasty stuff can be removed! - If someone's bullying you on your mobile phone, change your SIM card
and number and only give it to trusted friends. - Make sure you visit www.bullying.co.uk, a brilliant website that's
packed full of help and advice. Remember, you're NOT alone!
