MI High interview with CBBC star Ben Kerfoot
NG Kids caught up with Ben Kerfoot, star of CBBC's brilliant spy show, MI High, for a chat about the new series, his crazy co-stars, and sneaky eyebrows...
NG Kids What can we expect from the new series of MI High?
Ben Kerfoot There's a lot more going on for all the spies. They have to cope with another year of school, and there are some great storylines coming up. Like the Grand Mistress returns and poses a real threat! There are some amazing action scenes too!
NGK What's your favourite gadget from the new series?
Ben Oscar goes undercover and uses special eyebrow cameras. They're really bushy and didn't suit me at all, so it was really hilarious. They were like caterpillars crawling across my face!
NGK What funny stuff went wrong when you were filming?
Ben The eyebrows kept falling off! I'd be halfway through a shot and end up trying to catch an eyebrow as it slipped off my face!
Ben's Top 3 Spy Tips
- Always trust your team. If you don't things will go wrong and fall apart!
- Don't jump to conclusions - it can land you in hot water!
- Always go the extra mile with your disguise. If you can stick on a false beard, do it!
NGK What kind of spy would you make in the real world?
Ben Enthusiastic but appalling! I'd be up for the dramatic action bits, but I wouldn't be very good at being sneaky!
NGK Tell us something surprising about your co-stars please!
Ben Rachel (who plays Rose) and Charlene (who plays Carrie) are two of the loudest and craziest people I've ever met. They're both really professional, but they're always doing mad stuff!
Ben In this new series, I got a chance to perform a main fight scene. Usually the stunt men step in for that kind of thing, but it was brilliant to have a go at it myself!
