NG Kids chats with Logan Miller star of Disney XD’s hilarious new show I'm In The Band…
NG Kids Hi Logan! Tell us a bit about the new show please!
Logan Miller I play Tripp Campbell, a prodigy guitar player. He loves this old 80s rock band, Iron Weasel. And when he hears they’re trying to make a comeback, he auditions and gets in the band. But the band members end up living with him because they’re broke. It’s really crazy!
NGK Cool! So what’s Tripp like?
Logan He’s a rocker who loves music and playing guitar. He’s a straight shooter and will do anything to get wherever he needs to be. I’ve been playing guitar for eight years so we have that in common!
NGK What are the other characters in the show like?
Logan They’re all really funny! Derek thinks he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to the rock business. Burger’s the type of crazy guy who wants to crash a hotel room and make a mess. And Ash is the band’s drummer – he does some really stupid things!
NGK What kind of stuff does Tripp get up to in the show?
Logan So many crazy things happen. Everything from trying to get a record deal to delivering a baby on the side of the road! And even crazier things happen with Iron Weasel!
NGK What’s your favourite thing about being on the show?
Logan I get to work with amazing people and we have a really good time together. The cast and crew on I’m In The Band are great. It’s always so much fun to film!
NGK Sounds brilliant! What’s the funniest thing that’s happened on set?
Logan Loads of funny things have happened. One of the funniest things was when I got pelted with 24 eggs for a scene. I was covered in nasty egg pieces!
